Meet the Porsche Team: Formula Motorsports

Michael is the director of Formula Motorsports since 2008 and has been part of the Porsche community for four decades. He has been retained to serve on advisory boards for Porsche, private entities within the auto sector, and is the Technical Chair for the Porsche Club of America-Metro Region.  Michael also acts as an expert witness within the Porsche field in the area of valuation and technical reporting/valuation both civil and criminal.  He has been the recipient of commendations from both the NYC Councils, NYS Governors, Mayors, as well as the Porsche Club of America.  He is a member of Monticello Motor Club, and holds various competition licenses in motorsport.  Prior to Formula Motorsports Michael received a B.A. from Zarb School-Hofstra University, CXO Certification Wharton School @ UPenn, and currently enrolled Sloan @ MIT in pursuit of an EPGM certification with a concentration in AI (2025).  He has been a member of the Porsche Club of America for 43 years & an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police since 1998.  And most importantly, an avid Porsche enthusiast from birth.

Mark began Formula Garage Inc in 1966 serving only the Porsche 356 & 911 models in Brooklyn, NY.  Mark has held the position of President of Porsche Club of America- Metro Region twice, Chief Track Instructor, Technical Chairman, and most other positions within the Porsche community. Mark’s published articles can be found in our Blog section.  Today he can be found building air-cooled motors at Formula Motorsports by the hundreds-literally.  Mark attended St Francis College with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.  He has won over 100 races within the Porsche racing world throughout his career.  Mark has been a member of the Porsche Club of America for 47 years and a purist since 1950.
